miraDry® Treatment

During the miraDry® treatment, your underarms will be marked to identify the customized treatment area. Then, a numbing agent will be applied. The miraDry® handpiece will be placed on your skin, and it will emit miraWave energy to destroy the sweat and odor glands in your underarm area. 

Many patients have reported feeling minimal pain during the miraDry® treatment, with 80% rating the discomfort as 0 or 1 on a scale of zero to ten. However, it is normal to experience temporary swelling, tingling, and soreness in the underarm area after the procedure. These side effects can be managed with the use of ice packs and over-the-counter pain medication.

To achieve optimal results and durability, it is recommended to undergo two miraDry® treatments, spaced three months apart. Each treatment session typically takes less than one hour, allowing you to return to work and normal activities immediately with little to no downtime.

Recovery
