A Personal Story: Why Did I Wait So Long?
Renowned San Francisco surgeon Dr. Larry Fan recalls his own personal regret in not seeking out treatment sooner:
I know what it's like to be unhappy with your appearance. When I was 21 years old, I broke my nose playing basketball. It healed fine, at first. But, fast forward two years, and I could see that my nose was a little crooked. Just a millimeter or two.
Nobody else could see it but me (maybe that's when I knew I was destined to become a plastic surgeon - I could see how even the smallest detail could affect your appearance).
Fast forward another two years, and it was even more crooked by another millimeter.Add another two years and another millimeter. And on and on.
By the time I was 30, my nose was a full centimeter crooked. I looked like a professional boxer who had been on the wrong end of one too many punches. I could see strangers giving me funny looks. My future wife told me she thought there was something wrong with my face, but never figured it out until I pointed out my nose. My own mother started making fun of me for having a crooked nose.
I began thinking about getting it fixed, but as a thinking type, my mind raced with questions. A thousand concerns plagued me until I realized I couldn't live like this any longer.
Enough, I said!
Finally, I took a step back and realized I didn't have to live like that. I could find a great surgeon, have my nose fixed, and be the best person I could be. And so that's what I did.
I found a great surgeon, ended up with a great result, and felt like myself again.I suffered from self-consciousness for all those years when the solution was right in front of, well... my nose.
Don’t Wait Any Longer to Invest in Yourself
There’s no reason you should have to live with something that makes you self-conscious. Modern breast augmentation is one of the safest, most common and fine-tuned procedures available. In addition to creating a natural-looking bust, it is affordable with multiple financing options.
Maybe 2017 is your year — the year you give fear the boot and stop talking yourself out of what your heart truly wants.
You deserve to be comfortable in your own skin. If you’re unhappy with your breasts, don’t accept the status quo — don’t be paralyzed by fear or inertia. There’s no time like the present to start living your life to the fullest.
If you’re like most women, you can think of one or two primary reasons to talk yourself out of breast augmentation. Below are a few reasons you shouldn’t let excuses get in the way of a beautiful new physique.
Breast Augmentation Is Safer Than Ever
Breast enhancement surgery is now the most popular cosmetic procedure in America. All surgical procedures carry some risk, but the FDA has long studied breast implants and ruled them to be safe for breast health. In fact, you can still have mammograms and even breastfeed.
Financing Is Available
Financing plans are available at any reputable surgical establishment. Check with your surgeon’s office staff to discuss low monthly payment options.

Keep in mind that you’re making an investment in not only your appearance, but also your self-confidence and your quality of life.
Results Are Incredibly Natural
A skilled surgeon can give you seamless, beautiful, natural-looking breasts. Most people can’t tell the difference, whether you’re in or out of clothes. Make sure you look at before-and-after pictures when you’re considering a specific plastic surgeon. His or her aesthetic should line up with the results you have in mind.
You can now see your results before your surgery with 3D simulation. Consult with your plastic surgeon for more information.
Recovery Pain is Easily Managed
First of all, patients often build up the issue of pain in their mind. Surgery is scary. In reality, many women can return to normal activity after the first 24 hours.
The majority of discomfort will be behind you after the first couple of days, and your surgeon will prescribe medications to control it. You will go home with specific instructions on wound care and pain management, and you’ll return to your doctor’s office for a check to make sure everything is healing properly.
