There are a very few surgeons who are capable of performing breast augmentation using this transaxillary endoscopic approach.

- The Pocket Location
Breast implants are placed into a pocket within your breasts. The pocket may be placed under the muscle ("submuscular", "subpectoral", "dual plane") or over the muscle ("subglandular").
The majority of Asian breast implants are placed under the muscle in the dual plane so that the muscle can give extra protection to the implant so that the chances of implant visibility, rippling, and capsular contracture are reduced.
